Little SEO Battles can Win the Ranking War

I have spent the last four days digging through data in order to produce quarterly reports for some of our members.  Most are doing very well but a few are lagging behind for various reasons.  This case in particular was interesting because they had a terrible website up with poor navigation, an empty title tag, almost no content and page-load issues.  We got their new design up live and tweaked but I was worried it would take longer than the first quarter to show any positive results.

After running their rankings I was pleasantly surprised – as you can see they had some good positive moves (note: ‘new’ means they did not rank in the top 100 previously).

Then I took a peek at their analytics and received more good news!  The most recent 30 days vs. the first 30 days had search traffic up a whooping 32% – Considering this time of the year is notoriously slow for non-product type sites, I am very happy with these results.
