Be Careful When Farming Out Your Writing

So we all know how important social media is these days and fresh compelling content for your website is also a priority.  But be careful who you have writing for your website and social media accounts.  Sometimes saving a few bucks can really come back to bite ya.

Here we see a company that is trying hard to increase their social media presence but they have hired or assigned the wrong person to bring this to fruition.

They were writing a Facebook post to help promote a blog post on their website, the blog post can be found here http://carcone.com/blog/why-used-auto-parts-are-your-best-bet/ and the goal of the blog post is to tout the use of used auto parts when repairing your vehicle.  But look at the Facebook post they make for promotion.

The term ‘a dime a dozen’ has a very negative connotation and implies that used auto parts are worthless….very bad faux pas, probably farmed out to a non-native English speaker.  Honestly, if you can’t afford to have a quality person take care of your social media, you are better off not posting at all.
